Judy's obituary
Judy was born on March 4, 1941, to Margaret (Peg) and Frank Cleland, in Longmont, Colorado. After graduating from Longmont Highschool in 1958, she went on to study nursing and earn her degree. As a registered nurse, Judy spent most of her career working in Longmont, at Longmont United Hospital as well as Foothills Care Center (now, Peaks Care Center), and Applewood Living Center. She finished her career in Waco Texas, working for Providence Hospital for 8 years. After she retired, she continued to volunteer at Providence, with patient advocate work as well as working the front desk and gift shop. Judy loved her work and was an RN for 47 years.
In high school, she met Joseph Donald Mulhall “Don”, and they wed in 1963. They went on to have three children, Sean Patrick Mulhall, of Cortlandt Manor, New York, Shannon Christine Mulhall, of Denver Colorado, and Lara Ann Mulhall-Mayes, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Judy was passionate about crafting and cooking, always finding new crochet/knitting patterns and new recipes to try. She liked to keep her hands busy, and always found new crafts to do in her spare time. Judy loved to travel and she and Don spent most summers in their RV, traveling to Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. When they weren’t traveling, Judy loved to spend time with her friends and family.
Judy was predeceased by Richard Cleland (brother), Margaret Ann Cleland (mother), and Frank Cleland (father). She is survived by her husband, Don Mulhall, son Sean Mulhall, daughter Shannon Mulhall, daughter Lara Mulhall-Mayes, daughter-in-law Emily Pobloki-Mulhall, grandson Nevan Mulhall, grandson Levi Mulhall, and grandson Logan Mulhall, a sister-in-law, Lori Loucks, as well as a nephew, Luke Cleland.
