Judith's obituary

Judith "Judy" Bray went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2025, at age 78.

Judy was born to Byron and Lonnie Henderson on April 24, 1947, in McDonough, GA. Judy had two children, Annette and Tony. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Judy also had four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Throughout her entire life, Judy held an unwavering faith in God. She loved the Lord with all her heart and shared of His goodness any chance she had. Any time with Judy was a time of fellowship, planned or not. Judy worked for Clayton News Daily, the Department of Labor and Atlanta Medical Center. She enjoyed playing games, baking, singing hymns and spending time with her family and friends. Judy was the beacon of the family. She was an inspiration to those around her and contained an unconditional love like no other.

She is survived by her children: daughter, Annette Johnson; son, Tony Bray; her grandchildren, Brandon Stewart, Tyler Bray, Haley Powell, Alex Bray and great-grandchild, Jamie Bray. She is also survived by two of her brothers, Ralph and Ed Henderson.

On December 14th, 2025, shortly after Judy's passing, her brother, Kerry Henderson joined her, "skippin' into Heaven".

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Lonnie Henderson and her sister, Connie Wiggins.

Psalm 16:8-11

"I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore, my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
