Judy was born on February 28th, 1944 to William and Emma Jean Grubb in Columbus, OH. After graduating from Linden High School in 1961, she landed her first job as a cashier for Big Bear Grocery.
In 1962, she met Don Jarvis, the handsome grocery bagger that always seemed to be first to help with bagging. They wed in 1963, buying their first home on Hillcrest South in Hilliard, OH. Judy and Don expanded their family to include three children, Tamara, Daniel, and David. When Judy had Tammie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderfully passionate mother. Judy excelled at caring for others, most important to her was her husband, Don and their 3 children, never overlooking any need they presented to her and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Judy's unselfish care giving spirit and patience overflowed upon others, she took on the role of "Nanny" as she nurtured and raised many children from infancy until school age. Judy loved having her grandchildren at her house. She was always there for her aging parents and her siblings, supporting them through difficulties with health issues, she made it her mission to enlighten the lives of others. She was a member of the Hilliard, Ohio congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years.
Judy was a devoted gardener and when she wasn’t filling her home with the delicious smell of a meal being prepared, she could be found in her garden planting, weeding, or watering. Visitors and passersby would stop and enjoy the beautiful fragrant flowers. We will miss her greatly.
