Judith Lynn (Parrott, Menn) Fairchild passed away Sunday March 11th, 2018, at her home in Hampton, Arkansas, with her family by her side. She was born in Warren, AR on September 28, 1952. She lived most of her early years in Portage, Indiana and also in Pittsburg, IL with her family before moving to Hampton, AR.

Judith has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, AR since 2006. She was born in Warren, AR to William J. Parrott and Beatrice Vernell (Hopper, Parrott) Richardson, all having preceded her in death, as well as her only sibling, Peggy Schmidt. Judith is survived by her husband, Carl F. Fairchild Jr.; and her children; daughter Dawn (husband Jamie) Reid of Marion IL, daughter Lennie  Fairchild  (Paul Kugler ) of El dorado Ar , adopted son Robert Fairchild of Ashtabula, OH, adopted son William Fairchild of Hampton AR; and grandchildren, Cydney Paul of Marion IL, Nathan Paul of Whittington IL, Tristen Reid of Marion, IL, Kiaya Fairchild  of Hampton AR and Zachary Fairchild of El Dorado . Her great granddaugher Hallie . She is also survived by her step children and grandchildren.

Judith was a foster parent in Illinois for several decades and later in Arkansas, fostering many children throughout those years. She was also a Parent Liaison of the Southern Illinois district, a Hospice Volunteer and a cancer survivor. Judith enjoyed her beautiful chickens, loved being around her family and her church family, and was well known for taking care of others before herself.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 10:00am at the Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, AR, and Judith will be laid to rest beside her parents, William J. Parrott and Beatrice Vernell Richardson, and sister Peggy Schmidt at Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg, AR.
