Judith Lynn Fredrickson DeCroupet, 81, of Richmond, California passed away on April 29, 2023.

Judy was born November 25, 1941, in Fargo, ND to Clarence Oliver and Mildred Lorraine Fredrickson. Judy had a personality and tenacity of gold at a very young age that followed her through adulthood. She worked in many different industries including Longs Drugs, moving on to being a dental assistant before retiring with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department.

Judy was a huge animal lover and advocate. There was never a hungry animal in her presence if she could help it. She passed that trait onto her daughter and granddaughter for sure! She enjoyed traveling, watching baseball, cooking, swimming, enjoying a jacuzzi on vacation, gardening (she had an amazing green thumb she inherited from her father!) and spending time with loved ones.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law, Debbie and Alfredo Lopez. Her grandchildren, Michael, Felisa and her husband Lee, Alfredo Jr. and Matthew. Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Hunter and Mackenzie. Her younger sister Marlys Huez, niece, Janessa Huez, nephew, Cory Huez (Amber), great niece and nephews. As well as several extended family members and many, many loving friends.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers please consider donating to your local SPCA/animal shelter or other wonderful cause for animals in need.
