Judy's obituary

Judith (Judy) A. Caslow, 80, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2021. Her final days were spent with her family and loved ones by her side in her home in Debary, FL.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 1:00 pm at River City Church located at 267 E. Highbanks Rd. Debary, FL 32713 followed by a family ceremony to spread her ashes on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Judy was a native Floridian born in Lake Wales, Florida to Arthur J. Gardner and Annie Lou Jarrell. She moved to downtown Orlando as a young girl and attended Delaney Elementary and eventually graduating from Boone High School. She attended Orlando Junior College before becoming married to Richard E. Caslow, her love of 54 years.
Judy always wanted a family and dreamed of being a “Mommy” her entire life. She was blessed with four boys, Brian Paul, Brett Clark, Cory Allan, and eventually Christopher Lee, after trying one more time to have a girl! She devoted most of her time as a homemaker taking care of her home, driving her boys to practices and events, cooking and washing stinky football uniforms.
After her children were grown, she and Dick split their time between their Florida home and their legacy property in the North Carolina mountains, winters in FL and summers in NC. She hated being away from her family, most of whom resided in Florida, but stayed devoted to her husband and his retirement dreams by traveling up north every year where she got to spend time with her newfound NC mountain family.
Judy was a wonderful Mom, Grandmom and Great-Grandmom who was gifted at decorating homes, making flower arrangements, sewing and laughing! She also loved to go shopping! She had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious personality and love for life and family.
She is survived by her four sons and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, Sisters-in-law, cousins and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur J. Gardner Jr, and her sisters Joyce and Patsy.
