Judith Ann Smith, 71, passed away at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS on March 9, 2022. 

Judy was born on September 12, 1950 to James and Melita Walker in Elizabethtown, IL. She later moved to West Point, MS and married Thomas Larry Peeples, Sr. She raised four children while working at B&W before retiring after 37 years. In 2002, Judy married Ed Smith and made her home in Maben, MS. 

She spent much of her time sewing, hunting, and spending time with children and grandchildren. Her greatest love was being Nana. In her last year of life, she found peace in painting for family. 

Judy is survived by her children Sheila Knapp (Paul), Tommy Peeples (Heather), Jamie Peeples (Mirasol), and Athena Donald (Allen); siblings Bill Walker (Linda), Joann Petty, Jackie Peay (Charlie), Joyce Walker (Russ), and JC Walker (Michelle); 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ed Smith.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Her sweet presence will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
