This is Janel< sending my. deepest condolences. I'm here w? my dad who had some heart issues last month so dr said no to this trip.

As you know he also has dementia and not sure if you know a heart surgery coming up so he has been not able to travel.

He has been aware though of his baby sisters passing and has been grieving> this is one thing he has Not forgotten. Everything else he forgets but, this has hit and he is very sad and concerned for uncle Wayne and the kids as he understands what a great losss this is.

The pastors shared so many truths to her character & spirit and what a piece of sunshine she was to everyone that was blessed to have known her and experience her presence. She is greatly missed.

Sending all our love and prayers to you all. It was a beautiful service.

Judi radiated faith, love and positivity. There was a lovely, confident joy in her smile. I am missing her affirmations.

I was so sorry to hear about Judi's passing. She was such a warm and loving presence, and treated everyone she met with kindness and greeted them with an embrace. She was the embodiment of love and support, and she will be greatly missed.

Dear Wayne,

We’re so sorry about Judi’s passing and of how you and your family will miss her so much. We will too. Transitions such as this can be so hard. I’m so glad to know that you have a large and loving church family! May you always remember, especially now, all the people whose lives Judi and your whole family have touched.

We love the photo you have of her here. May you all hold such vivid visions of her beautiful smile, and her beautiful heart from where all those smiles arise.

Sending you all our love,

Dean and Julie

When she married Wayne
In response to "How did you first meet Judi?"
Judi and I met at Norwalk First Methodist Church in 1958 and became fast friends, a friendship that would last the rest of her life.  We were besties, and she blessed me and everyone she met with her friendliness, genuine caring, generosity, and thoughtfulness.  She went above and beyond in nearly every circumstance, making sure that events were exceptional and people were honored.  She possessed so many notable skills, including beautiful singing, fabulous cooking, extraordinary sewing and craft skills, and so many more.  I learned so much from her, including how to be a better, more selfless person.  Her loss is immeasurable, and the holes in our hearts can only be filled with happy memories, shared love for Judi, and the knowledge that she is singing with God’s most heavenly angels.  My prayers and love for her family will be constant and earnestly offered.

Loving remarks about Judi Fabrizio

When word got out on Burlington, where she and Wayne have lived for over 45 years, neighbors offered these loving comments:

Judi made us feel welcome and was such a light on our block

…always had a smile and enjoyed our cul-de-sac parties…a bright light of our block community, waving and huge smile: you could feel her joy, kindness and love with every interaction…she had such a gentle heart, especially toward our little son. Her warmth meant so much to us.

For many of us, Judi WAS and IS family.

William Saroyan when he wrote these words, must have been thinking of people like Judi:

In the time of your life, live—so that in that good time there shall be no ugliness or death for yourself or for any life your life touches. Seek goodness everywhere, and when it is found, bring it out of its hiding place and let it be free and unashamed.

In the time of your life, live—so that in that wondrous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it.

In closing, let us be grateful: all of us have been gifted with Judi’s positivity, laughter and love.

And we are better for knowing her.

Meg and Larry Bowerman

May the family know that each morning I pray for you all.  Judy was such a help to me for many years as we raised her niece and nephew.   She drove all the way from Oakland to Castro Valley to help me when James was born and Janel was three.  She was gentle, understanding, and fun with them both.  I was blessed to have her as a sister-in-law.  Will miss her terribly!
