Juanita Hawkins was born on August 4, 1945, in Pell City, AL. She was the third child born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Rosa (Jordan) Dobbins. She accepted Jesus Christ into her life at an early age and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL.
