Juanita's obituary

Juanita Laverne Kozlowski (Bolling) passed away on October 20th, 2022, at 7:01 a.m. in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

She was predeceased by her parents Alonzie N Bolling and Mamie J. Bolling (Fisher), her brother Bruce Bolling, her sister Margaret Sigler, and her loving husband Thomas G. Kozlowski. She married Thomas on January 15, 1968, he passed away November 23, 1996.

She is survived by her three children Adam Kozlowski, Leah Vickers (Kozlowski), Raymond Kozlowski along with their spouses. She is also survived by her 10 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren and the numerous children she has claimed as extended family throughout her life.

She was a very loving woman. Anyone who met her was lucky to be able to get to know her. Juanita was a very caring, forgiving, and strong kind of woman. She was the type of a person who would help you in any way that she could. She loved her biological family and her extended family equally. She was the type of person who would give and never expect anything in return. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was also a very proud descendant of Pocahontas!

Juanita is the one who taught me how to love others unconditionally. She taught me how to forgive. She was the most forgiving person that I know! She was the rock in our family. The glue trying to hold our family together. I am proud to call her my Mommom! She is the best grandmother, mother, sister, and friend anyone could ask for!

Funeral details will be told to family members at a later time.

" I give you this one thought to keep,

I'm with you still. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush,

Of quiet birds in circled flight

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone

I am with you still, in each new dawn.

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there I do not sleep.

Do not stand there at my grave and cry

I am not there, I did not die."
