Juanita was born in Montclair (also known as the “Frog Hollow”), New Jersey on 10/16/1948. She was born to Ora Lee Haley of Florence, Alabama, and Sylvester Robert Haley of New Jersey. She was also one of 8 children which include the late Joyce Thompson (sister), the late Lena Mae Haley (sister), and the late Douglas Haley. Her surviving siblings are Ora Phelps (sister), Laverne Williams (sister), Robert Haley (brother), and Roger Haley (brother). As well as a host family including her brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews who love her dearly include her Ernest Phelps (brother-in-law), Tyralyn L. Phelps (niece), Dauna Thompson (niece), Davone Thompson (nephew), Kemone Thompson (nephew), the late Taryn Haley (niece), Tamika Haley (niece), the late Hughlee N. Haley (nephew), Syretta Kersee (niece) and Sherri Green (niece), Adia Thompson (great-niece), A’layeah Thompson (great-niece), Lena Doshatayia Haley (great-niece), Timear Haley (great-nephew), Haseem Woods (great-nephew), and Jorden Hardrick (great-nephew), Tamar Lawson (great-nephew).

She also was well-loved by her husband’s family (Rueben Jolley) with open arms they are her sister-in-law, Kathy Williams (Salt Lake City, Utah), her sister-in-law Teresa Banks of Cedar City, Utah, sister-in-law Susan Rawlins and her husband Keith Rawlins of Parowan, Utah, brother-in-law Curtis Jolley of Casper, Wyoming, and sister-in-law, Katherine Williams of Fruitland, Utah and a host of nieces and nephews.

As the spouse of an Army veteran, Juanita lived in several locations including Fort Rucker, Alabama, Fort Lee, Virginia, Radcliff (Fort Knox) Kentucky, Berlin, Germany, and her last place of residence was in North Las Vegas, Nevada where she resided with her beloved husband, Reuben Jolley.

Juanita was employed at several locations as she lived and traveled around the world including working at Houston Bowling Center in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She was an amazing bowler and was on a bowling league through her late 30s which she loved (and where she met the love of her life) and her husband Reuben of 38 years. In Berlin, Germany she worked at the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) office for military personnel. She also worked in the accounting department at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and her last job where she retired early was at the Clark County Courthouse.

At an early age, Juanita accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at her family church ‘Union Baptist Church in Montclair’, New Jersey. In early 2000, she became an ordained minister by Bishop Moore in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Also, known as "Elder Jolley" she was a very active, committed, and proud member & leader of "The House of Deliverance M.T.O.C. Church” in Las Vegas, Nevada under the guise of Pastor & Prophetess Betty Smith. She served as an Elder and leader in the church but one of her most important roles was her commitment over the last 20+ years in the ‘ministry’. During her time at the church, she was taught by Pastor Smith. She also bore witness and spread the goodness and word of GOD to her community as well as the entire world in her travels with the church. She more than anything was a devout and dedicated Christian and a relentless and faithful servant to GOD. One thing about ‘Elder’ (as she was so affectionately called by her church members), she was a prayer warrior. Upon a text or a telephone call to her and without a moment of hesitation, she would pray for people with much powerful, unrelenting, and resounding fervor.

Juanita will be sorely missed by all of the lives that she entered and touched including a host of lifetime friends and family from around the world. But she most of all will be immensely and deeply missed by her husband, daughter, and family. Their true source of comfort and peace is knowing that Juanita Louise due to her lifetime commitment, has arrived in the Kingdom of GOD and she is smiling down from Heaven with a new promotion…angel wings and a well-deserved seat in Heaven.

We Love you and Miss You So Very Much!
