Juanita A. Caspillo passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on January 27, 1940, Juanita lived a life of profound faith, relentless prayer, and boundless love for her family, friends, and community.
Her devotion to her Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. In 1980, Juanita founded the prayer group at United Airlines, where she worked, creating a spiritual community that provided support, guidance, and connection for her colleagues. Her leadership and dedication to prayer continued to inspire others for decades. Known for her relentless praying of the rosary, she created an umbrella of protection and blessings over her family, a testament to her unwavering belief in the power of prayer.
Passing on Christmas Day, her favorite day of the year, is a comfort and a sign that her prayers were answered. Her family finds peace knowing that her love, faith, and dedication to God will continue to sustain them.
Juanita now rejoins her beloved husband, Albert Michael Caspillo, along with her brothers and sister, in eternal peace. Their reunion in heaven is a joyous fulfillment of her lifelong faith and devotion.
She is survived by her four children, Albert Caspillo, Julie Caspillo, Cheryl Caspillo-Svenson, and David Caspillo. Juanita was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother. She adored each of them and found immense joy in their love and laughter, as well as in their spouses and children, all of whom carry forward her legacy of faith and love.
Juanita found joy in life’s simplest and most meaningful moments. Whether walking in nature, offering quiet prayers, or spending time with loved ones, she embodied grace, patience, and a deep connection to God. Her life was a testament to selfless service, spiritual devotion, and unwavering kindness.

• Viewing & Rosary: January 13, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
• Mass: January 14, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Holy Spirit Church
• Burial: January 15, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA.
