Juanita's obituary
Juanita Bolander, 93, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, Born on November 2, 1931, in Gunlock, Utah to Melvin and Velma Farnsworth.
Juanita was a devoted wife to Theordore Bolander for 41 years, a loving mother to Kerry Brimley, Andrew Bolander and Kelly Bolander and a cherished grandmother to Eric and Justin Brimley, Janell Bennett and Tina Bolander, as well as Jessie Bolander and Marcy Thompson.
She was a successful businesswoman, working for Stravell Patterson’s for 25 years, Rocky Mountain Flooring for 10 years and Cummins Diesel for 8 years where she retired at the age of 71.
Juanita will be remembered for her love of travelling with friends and family, especially cruising, spending time with her friends at Eagles FOE, where she was a member of the women’s auxiliary for 45 years and the Elks Lodge, where she was a member for 25 years, playing pool, golfing, socializing and tree decorating for the Festival of Trees, her love for cooking, collecting recipes and supporting the adoption of homeless pets from the local shelter.
She is survived by her son Andrew (Cristina) Bolander, son-in-law Dale Brimley, daughter-in-law Ute, grandchildren Eric (Anush) and Justin Brimley, Janell (William) Bennett, Jessie Bolander and Marcy Thompson along with her great-grandchildren and their children. She is preceded in death by her parents; Melvin and Velma Farnsworth, siblings; Melvin, Shirley, Gay, Loy, Phil and Rulon, husbands; Albert Cannon, Theordore Bolander, Donald Haws and Robert Griggs, her daughter Kerry Brimley, her son Kelly Bolander and her granddaughter Tina Bolander.
Juanita loved helping the community and has donated her body to the University of Utah for science.
A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends on a later date.
