It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juana Gomez on June 9, 2025. Juana, a beloved mother and grandmother, was born on March 8, 1933 In Honduras  C.A. Her life was defined by her loving, giving, grateful, and unselfishly generous nature, imbuing those who knew her with profound lessons and a tremendous legacy.

Juana's greatest accomplishment, and the one she cherished above all, was her endless love towards her family. Known for giving everything without expecting anything in return, she devoted her heart to raising her grandchildren. Her life was a testament to the principle she held dear - to give your all to everything you do in life.

Juana is survived by her children, Ma.Cristina Gomez, Fredy Garcia, Alex Rivera, Omar Rivera, and Rina Rivera, her daughters-in-law Maite, Waldina Rivera her grandchildren Sandra Banegas, Johana Moran, Jennifer Moran, Elvis (Pipo) Moran, Alexandra Rivera, and her esteemed great-grandchildren Brianna, Kaylyn, Kelvin, Christian, Bayrito, Liam, Kimberly, and Gianna. Their lives have been enriched by her love, her wisdom, and the precious time they spent with her.

A funeral service for Juana will be held on June 16, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to live as Juana did, giving your all to those around you and expecting nothing in return. As you remember her, may you be reminded of her love and her unselfish attitude in all things. Juana Gomez, a woman of devotion, love, and endless generosity, will be deeply missed.
