Juan's obituary

Juan Manuel Quintor, affectionately known as “Jama,” a resident of Danville, California, was born in Mixtain, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1941. Juan Manuel unexpectedly passed away on October 20, 2025.

Jama was survived by his devoted wife, Esperanza Quintor, who shared his life for 61 wonderful years. He was also survived by his daughter, Mercedes Quintor, and his son, Alfonso Quintor. His daughter-in-law, Laelah Quintor, and son-in-law, Joe Fuata, were also present in his life.

Jama’s family extended to his grandchildren, including Ruben Arellano (wife, Veronica Arellano), Casandra Montes (husband, Max Montes), Fernando Guerra Jr. (who passed away in 2014), Jordan Quintor, and Mike Quintor. He was also surrounded by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members who held him in high regard.
