Juan Gutierrez Obituary

Juan Ruben Gutierrez, age 57, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

Juan was born on January 7, 1966 in Sweetwater, Texas to Pedro (Pete) and Rosa (Soto) Gutierrez. He married Dolores Monreal on June 24, 1989 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a 1984 graduate of Sweetwater High School. He worked for SISD for twenty five years as a landscaper. He also had a landscaping business. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Gutierrez of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Paul Anthony Gutierrez of Austin, Texas, daughter, Alysa Gutierrez of Sweetwater, Texas, and son, Brandon Daniel Gutierrez and Ciara of San Angelo, Texas, granddaughters, Iliana Gutierrez and Aria Gutierrez, parents, Pedro (Pete) Gutierrez and wife Rosa of Sweetwater, Texas, brother, David Gutierrez of Sweetwater, Texas, sister, Julie Redondo and husband Steve of Abilene, Texas, nephew, Michael Redondo, and numerous relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Domingo Castillo, Robert Deleon, Peter Soto, Isabel (Easy) Vasquez, Jr. , Anselmo Monreal, Jr. and Andy Soto.
