In Loving Memory: Juan Gonzalez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan, who left us suddenly on 8/10/2023 due to a heart attack. Juan's departure has left a profound void in the lives of family, friends, and all who knew him.

Born in Chicago, Juan was a 74-year-old mechanic who touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication. He will be remembered for his passion for fishing, his dedication to his family, and his ability to bring a smile to everyone he encountered.

Juan's legacy extends beyond his accomplishments. He was a beloved father, who leaves behind his wife Isabel, his daughters Carmen and Lucy, and his grandchildren. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, who remember him as a loving presence.

Friends and colleagues of Juan will remember him for his smile, workmanship, and memorable experiences shared. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Juan's life will be held on 8/17/2023  at Smith & Thomas Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association, which Juan was passionate about.

During this difficult time, let us come together to honor Juan's memory and find solace in the impact he made on our lives. Juan may be gone, but his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
