John's obituary

Juan Duran also known as John, was born to Tommie Quintana and Frank Duran in Seaside, Ca.  He was one of 15 children. After high school John joined the Army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife Stefanie Duran. Together they had 4 children. Tanja Hofmann, Mina Duran, Juan Duran Jr. and Joseph Duran.  After serving in the Military for 8 years, John resigned and moved to San Jose, Ca.  After 10 years of marriage, he separated from his wife and eventually moved to Modesto, Ca where he resided with his partner of 32 years, Irene Rodriguez. He is survived by 12 siblings and his 4 children and 8 grandchildren. 

Him and his girlfriend fed the homeless regularly. He enjoyed telling stories and reminiscing of his time in the Army
