JR Benally Hart, born on December 27, 1997, passed away on October 18, 2024. Known for his easygoing and friendly personality, JR was always a source of fun and acceptance for all who knew him.

JR was known for his significant accomplishments, which included earning a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering. However, the achievement closest to his heart was undoubtedly his marriage to Mariah Benally, a testament to his immense capacity for love and commitment.

JR had a rare form of cancer called a Chordoma which was located in an even rarer spot on his brainstem. He fought as hard as he could for over 4 years but due to the rarity and location, medical science and pure will weren't enough. 

His greatest legacy will be his legacy of kindness and his wicked love of games that always brought people together. He had a unique ability to create a sense of community wherever he went, always leaving a trail of smiles in his wake.
