It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Gale Cox Salupo on January 17, 2025. Joyce was born on May 13, 1946 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Joyce was met in the afterlife by her beloved husband, Ronald Edward Cornilus Salupo and her two sons and daughter; Mary Gale. James Jordan " Jimmy " and Joesph Jordan " JayBird ". 

Joyce was a mother to six beautiful children.  Joyce is survived by her daughter Angie Jordan Miller, daughter Chrissy Byrd as well as her daughter in law Teresa Jordan wife if Joesph Jordan.   Her youngest son, Ronald Anthony James Salupo and fiancé Andrea Gayton.  Joyce was a loving grandmother and great grandmother of 13.

Joyce was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and loved ones. Joyce loved her family and would make a point to tell them that she loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug, a funny face but, most frequently with a text with their nickname or a social media post.

Joyce’s departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide network of community. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.
