Elaine McClain-Mathews 83, died February 13, 2023 with her family by her side in Atlanta Ga. She was born in Monroe, LA April 27, 1940. After completing college at LSU she moved to Texas where she met her husband Willie Mathews. She became a teacher for A.M. Pate elementary in Ft. Worth Texas. She had 5 children 2 sons and 3 daughters whom she is survived by as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and two sisters and preceded in deaths by her parents and baby brother. A memorial will be held on Saturday February 18,2023 at her residence in Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held on Mon February 20, 2023 at 3:30pm at Murray Brothers Funeral Home Cascade Chapel in Atlanta, GA. They family thanks you for your prayers and condolences at this time.
