My mom loved animals and ended up being a cat rescue for all 3 of us kids. I believe it was first my 2 cats and then my brother's cat and at the end she was still caring for my sister's cat.

She found great joy in caring for those cats and loved them dearly, treating them with so much love and affection and....a little to much food love :).

In the old days they would have considered the cats wealthy from the judging of their waistlines. Contribute to Best Friends Animal Society

How are donations used?

Donations are used to make the biggest impact in ending the killing in America's shelters. This includes our major no-kill initiatives, funding our lifesaving centers, and grants to our Network Partner organizations.
What can be done with a $100 donation?

$100 helps provide six weeks of formula for an orphaned newborn puppy.
