Mrs. Joyce Marie Krutzsch of Pinehurst passed away in her home on Monday, May 25, 2020; at the age of 66.

Joyce was born in Lynchburg, VA on June 4, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Carl Edward McAlister and Francis Creasy McAlister. She enjoyed many things during her life. Joyce was an accomplished sewer and quilter. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains and the beach. Joyce had the purest heart and renewed broken hearts. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her husband, Ernest; her children Timothy of Hagerstown, MD, Carl of Virginia Beach, Steve and his wife, Janelle of Littleton, CO, Christopher and his wife, AshLeigh of Bridgeton, NJ, Christina and her husband, Patrick of Virginia Beach; her brother, Carl and his wife Sandra; her sisters Jeri and her husband, Sam, and Janice. Joyce also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Kaytlin, Haley, Madeline, Jonathan, Andrew, Charlotte, Addison, Karl, RyLeigh, Patrick, Caroline, Evelyn; her great-grandchild, Kennedy.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Crumpler Funeral Home-Aberdeen, 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen, NC 28315. Times will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to vetsports.org or to a charity of your choice.
