It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Banks, born November 16, 1940, who left us on October 3, 2023. A kind and generous soul, Joyce's warmth and loving nature touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of generosity will be forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Joyce is survived by her beloved children; daughters Lore Banks, Sheri Glombowski, and her sons Paul Banks, James Banks, and Daniel ( Diane)Banks. Brother Robert Vanocker Predeceased by her husband Paul Banks and her mother Emily Vanocker, Joyce's absence will be deeply felt in the family.
Ever the nurturer, Joyce often affirmed that her greatest accomplishment was her children, who she loved dearly. She was described as a warm person with a heart of gold, and her life was a testament to these qualities. She was a firm believer in the principle of being good to everyone, a lesson she generously shared with all around her.
A woman of simple tastes and fervent faith, Joyce loved the Bible, and took great comfort in its words. She was fond of the song "Walking After Midnight," and her favorite TV show was "Heaven Can Wait." Joyce was a regular at the local VFW, where she engaged in her favored activities of dancing and singing
