Joyce Bono passed away peacefully in Redlands, CA at the age of 94 on May 15, 2019. She was born in Nashville Tennessee, to Bradford and Emma Felts. After graduating from Nashville North High School in 1942, she devoted herself to a rigorous 3-year nursing program at the Nashville General Hospital. As a newly minted RN, she set her sights on serving her country by enlisting in the U.S. Cadet Corps, but World War II …
