Joyce Ann Lucero (Pearson) passed away peacefully in her granddaughter's home in Fresno, CA on August 2, 2023 at the age of 85. She was born on April 1, 1938, in Okemah, OK, to Josephine and Lee Pearson.

Joyce was known for her kind and loving nature, as well as her stubborn, yet joyful, spirit. She touched the lives of many with her warm heart and infectious smile.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Manuel L. Pearson of Lemoore; her son, Anthony L. Lucero of Fresno; her granddaughters, Jacqueline A. Lucero and Samantha D. Lucero Munoz of Fresno; and her great-grandson, Logan R. Lucero Munoz of Fresno. She was preceded in death by her mother Josephine, father Lee, and spouse, Richard.

A ceremony to celebrate the lives of Joyce and Richard Lucero will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, @ 10:00 AM at the Washington Colony Cemetery, where they will both be laid to rest.
