Background
Joy experienced three types of cancer in her lifetime, and organizations that focus on reducing cancer in our lives were incredibly important to her.
Joy spent considerable time in supporting various causes focused on Ovarian Cancer and Ovarian Cancer patients. Donations to the TEAL Ovarian Cancer foundation will help to raise awareness with the goal of earlier detection, fund research to provide better therapy, and provide support to existing patients.
The Glioblastoma Foundation is focused on research and development of therapeutics that will improve the lives of those diagnosed with GBM. The current median survival time of those diagnosed is 15 months. Donations to this foundation will fund research in search of therapeutics to improve the lives of those diagnosed with this disease.
