Jousha's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jousha "Josh" Weber, a beloved son, brother, partner, and step-father and uncle. Josh was born on June 25, 1986, and unfortunately left us too soon on July 31, 2025. He was an exceptional man who was known for his adventurous spirit and kind heart.
He is survived by his mother, Aleesha Carothers, step-father Richard Carothers, sisters Cassandra Carothers and Angela Weber, brothers Carlton Hackney, Joshua Hanes, and Rafferty Carothers, his partner Krista Heath, and his step-sons Liam and Colton Hanks. His loss is profoundly felt by his family and all those whose lives were touched by his vivacious presence.
In 2015, Josh made his home in Bradenton, FL, a place where he was able to indulge in his favorite pastimes. Known for his broad palate, Josh truly found joy in every meal. From Mountain Dew to chocolate milk, he enjoyed a range of favorite beverages, and he always appreciated good music, especially classic rock and the Steve Miller Band.
A fan of screen and spectacle, Josh was fond of watching Batman movies, particularly enjoying the character of the Joker. He also loved sports and supported teams in the NFL and the Red Wings. But, it wasn't just passive entertainment that he enjoyed; Josh loved to play Monopoly and cherished time spent hanging with family and friends.
Despite his busy schedule, Josh found time for physical activity and considered his work as one of his favorite ways to exercise. He was a man of the outdoors, enjoying camping trips and visits to local spots like Reedsburg Dam. His love for the colors green and orange was a reflection of his lively personality and zest for life.
A Celebration of Life for Josh will be held on September 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at 130 Ridgeview Dr. We invite you to join us to remember his life and the joy he brought us all bring a chair and a story or just chill. Josh's passing is a tremendous loss to our family and his community. While we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the vibrant life he lived and the countless ways he enriched our lives.
