Jouhaina Ahmad Taleb El-roz, 86,of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away on January 16th, 2022 after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and contracted the deadly Covid-19 virus late December.

Jouhaina was born on March 15th 1935 and was the wife of Anwar Jamil El-Roz. Together they had 11 children, Jamal, Khaled, Robbie, Noha, Nada, Samia, Iman, and Samar. Their deceased children, Merheb, Ibrahim and Emad.

Jouhaina dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother after her husband passed away when she was 44 years old and excelled at propping up her whole family and neighbours and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others and always provide for the people around her.

Jouhaina El-Roz was a kind and generous mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend and was always there filling her home with warmth and kindness. She was a very strong women always looking out for everyone around her even when she was hurt. She was a women who passed on strength and resilience to her children and grandchildren and she will always be remembered for that. We will miss her greatly.

Due to Covid-19 and for the safety of everyone, there will not be in person visitations, however funeral service is scheduled for Thursday January 20th at the ISNA Mosque for prayer on her soul and burial at 11am at the Meadowvale Cemetery at 7732 Mavis Rd Brampton.
