Jospef Hilliard, 67, of Mount Pleasant, TX, passed away on January 8th, 2023 after a car accident. 

Jospef was born on October 7th 1955 to Leonard and Sarah Hilliard of Lake Dallas TX. After graduating from Lake Dallas in 1971, he went on to study engineering at The University of Texas in Austin.


After graduation, he landed his first job as assistant engineer for J.T integrated for 40 years. In 1978, he met Sandy, and they wed in Fall of 1979, going o to have  three talented children, Allen, Matthew and Sarah.


Jospef was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Allen, Matthew, Sarah, and Sandy and always tried his best to support them.


Jospef was also a passionate artist and could often be found painting the back pasture when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Jospef knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Jospef was predeceased by his mother Sarah, his father Leonard and his two sisters Deborah Reynolds and Dani Hilliard . He is survived by his wife Sandy and their three children, Allen, Matthew and Sarah. As well as his grandsons, Zach and Mazen and Granddaughters Aaliyah, Laila and Ellanore.  The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Restland Cemetery in Dallas. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 14th 2023 at Restland cemetery located in Dallas.
