Pauline Chavez, 71, met the eyes of Jesus on October 17,2024 in Las Vegas,Nevada surrounded by loved ones excited to see her granddaughter Brandi get married ,She was born on April 12, 1947 in Tajique, NM to the late Merejildo and Ocariz (Gonzales) Maldonado. Pauline was a lifetime resident of the East Mountains of New Mexico. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert, Joe, Freddie and Benny. Pauline is survived by her son, Romolo Chavez Jr. and wife Tammie of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Bernice Maez and husband David of Plano, TX, Martina Baca of Houston, TX, Josette Chavez of Albuquerque, NM and Natasha Chavez and Kenneth Edwards of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Jimmy Maldonado, Thomas Maldonado, Manuel Maldonado and Mark Garcia and sisters, Viola Chavez, Judy Lajunesse, Andrea Orazco, Debbie Maldonado Bazan and Maria Dominguez. Pauline was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday October 27 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at the Metroplitan Community Church at 1103 Texas St. NE Albuquerque, NM.
