Joshua's obituary
Joshua Woodhams, born on the 19th of August, 1980, was a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, whose life unfortunately ended abruptly on the 15th of July, 2023. Joshua's wit and humor, which brought laughter and joy to everyone fortunate enough to have known him, have left an indelible mark on many.
Joshua made a contribution to society through his service in the United States Air Force. His dedication for his country and his stalwart commitment to his duties were a testament to his character and his inherent sense of responsibility.
Joshua survived his father, Jonathan Woodhams, and his father-in-law, Kenny Strzelczyk. His memory lives on in the warm hearts and minds of his family who survive him today: his cherished wife, Krystal Woodhams; his loving sons, Caleb and Brayden Woodhams; his sweet daughter, Lily Woodhams; his loyal brother, Paul Woodhams; his devoted sister, Anna Heinz; his caring mother, Mary Mapes and her husband Doug; his warm-hearted mother-in-law, Kathy Strzelczyk; and his kind sister-in-law, Sarah Strzelczyk.
A funeral service will be held for Joshua on the 23rd of July, 2023, at Crossroads Lexington. 4128 Todds Rd. Lexington, KY. The receiving line will start at 3pm with service staring promptly at 4pm
This will be a time to honor and celebrate Joshua's life and to remember the joyous moments he gifted us. We invite those who knew Joshua and were touched by his spirit to join us in celebrating his life.
We take solace in knowing that Joshua, with his uncontainable humor, now keeps the angels laughing in heaven. Despite our grief and the void left by his departure, we will always carry his memory in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. Rest in peace, Joshua Woodhams. Your light will forever shine brightly in our lives.
