Linda & family,
My daughter, Sarah Leone, and myself met Joshua when they were about 18 months old (Sarah is 2 months older than Joshua). They both were in the early development program with the Santa Cruz Co Office of Education at Green Acres School in Live Oak. Over the years they had been in different classes with each other, but we eventually lost contact with Joshua and his family. Even though we hadn't seen Joshua for many years, I immediately recognized him when I saw his obituary in the Santa Cruz Sentinel. I remember what a joyful, happy kid he was, just like my daughter, Sarah. But they had each grown into adulthood, each facing the challenges of being an adult while reaching the age of 40, this past winter. Joshua has always held a special place in my heart I especially loved seeing the video of Joshua, out for a car ride, listening to great music and quietly rocking out to the joy of the music. Life is indeed good. Rest in peace, Joshua, rest in peace.

Joshua lived and loved every day knowing how much he was loved. You all gave him the best possible life he could have. Josh was a total sweetie. We love you, Glen and Cindy
