Joshua Francis “Josh” Tregoning passed away suddenly on Friday January 10, 2025 at the age of thirty-eight.

Josh was born January 21, 1986 in Carbondale, Illinois. Josh attended Goreville High School and served as a US Marine for 4 years. Josh was a beloved son and brother. He was a loving father and devoted friend. Josh’s quiet exterior could only temporarily hide his playful and loving personality. He could find a movie quote for any situation. He loved to read and watch movies. Mostly, Josh loved to chat. Josh could stay up all night as long as there was good conversation to be had.

Josh is survived by his daughters Cameron and Kadynce; parents George and Carol; brother Seibert; sister-in-law Ellie; and nieces Hazel and Mable.
