Joshua's obituary
Joshua Cai Taylor, (aka Jolly, Baby Boy, JT, Jalaclava) 20, of Central Islip, NY, passed away on March 17, 2023 after a motorcycle accident. Joshua was born on November 30, 2002 to Omar and Tracey Taylor in Stonybrook, NY.
After graduating from Central Islip High School in 2020 he worked at multiple jobs including DDI and EPIC. Joshua was also a carpenter who did flawless freelance work. Joshua owned his own business called JT Paints. Joshua was a motivated, driven problem solver who was currently applying for financial aid to pursue a degree in business. Joshua's current goal was purchasing a home in hopes of following in his father's footsteps.
Joshua's hobbies included producing and making music, painting, taking photographs, interior designing, fashion designing, motorcycling, playing basketball and so much more.
Joshua enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved passionately and used every day to its greatest potential. His motto was, 'Stay Motivated'.
Joshua was an analytical thinker who questioned the rules, who questioned the culture, and who often took a unique path to every destination. Some might may say that path was the easy way, some might say it was the hard way, but Joshua often did it his way.
Joshua is survived by Omar Taylor, Tracey Taylor, Chastity Taylor, Chanel Taylor and Kobi Betts.
