Background
Joshua suffered from a rare form of cancer. Sadly less than 10 months after diagnosis, Joshua passed away. He suffered in tremendous pain towards the end of his life, and unfortunately, prison officials didn't treat his pain with much importance. To know your person is suffering with no compation is devastating. Joshua was in prison for a series of bad decisions because of addiction. We aren't justifying his bad decisions. Joshua made a decision to get clean, and turn himself in to start a better life. He turned his life around and surrendered himself to face accountability. Shortly after his sentence began he got sick. Joshua was a very kind person. He made many mistakes, but ultimately he turned his life around and kept his promises to make his father and family proud of him. To know Josh was to love him. We want to raise money in his name to offer support, relief, and assistance to other inmates that are in a similar situation
