Joshua Richard Jones of Piqua, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the young age of 25. Joshua LIVED 25 years with a wonderful outlook on life and touched the hearts of many friends and family. Joshua was born on June 1, 1998, in Wilmington, Ohio to Heather Richelle (Goodpaster) Raypole and Troy Lee Jones.

He was a very proud and smiling graduate of Wilmington High School in Wilmington, Ohio in 2016. He had lived in Piqua, Ohio for the past four years, and had many family members and friends here in Kosciusko County, Indiana. Joshua never knew he had disabilities, he simply knew he was a special person in the lives of his family who dearly loved him. He was definitely a character and had a great personality and sense of humor. He was curious and loved learning new things, was honest and had an appreciation for the beauty and kindness in people. Joshua LOVED everybody and wanted to make them happy. He never knew a stranger and everyone was "his buddy" and special to him. You were one fortunate soul if in your lifetime you experienced one of his many bear hugs...his most favorite thing to do! Joshua was simply born to love others and was loved by everyone who knew him. He leaves behind many cherished memories in the hearts of his beloved family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Troy Jones, mother and step-father, Heather and Foster Raypole II; niece, Khevaya Goodpaster; two nephews, Markus and Joziah Goodpaster; and two cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Goodpaster of Cromell, Indiana and his nephew, Tyler Goodpaster II.

Joshua's life was celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and was officiated by his Uncle, Dave Bowman. He was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw on February 20.
