Welcome to Josh's memorial page! We have set this site up so you can share memories, photos, and stay up to date on all the information regarding the funeral and the beautiful life he lived.

Josh was the kind of person who made everyone he met feel seen, valued, and important. He showed up fully and consistently for the people he loved, whether as a devoted husband, a caring son, a supportive brother, a proud uncle, or a loyal friend. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and steadiness. Josh had a remarkable way of making others feel like they mattered, and his impact will continue to live on through the lives he touched.

Josh was content and satisfied with his life and when we thought about how to best honor Josh and his legacy, and how to give the people who love him a way to do the same, there was only one wish we believe he had unfilled: to renovate his family home back in Nigeria, the home he was raised in.

He often spoke about how much his dad sacrificed for him while he was growing up, and he was already working on his dream to give back in a meaningful and lasting way as his father is unwell and managing health challenges. Updating this property will allow current and future generations to visit his childhood home and the country he deeply loved, while doing one final gesture on his behalf for his family and father.

In his memory, we created this opportunity to continue the work he started, honor what mattered most to him and bring this work to completion. You are here because you love Josh and his family, so in lieu of flowers or food you can make a contribution to help carrying forward Josh’s love, gratitude, and devotion to his father and family.

Thank you for supporting our family and helping us keep Josh’s spirit, generosity, and compassion alive.

We are incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness reminds us of the incredible community we have surrounding us and the ripples Josh's life continues to create in our world.

We all love you Chukwudumeje "Josh" Nzekwu! You will be eternally missed, and your life will remain an example for us all around how to love your people well! You left it all on the table, not a single person questions your love and commitment to them. What a gift you have been on this earth.
