>Joshua "Dada" Mercer passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2025 at the age of 22, in Murfreesboro,Tn, in an tragic car accident. 

>Born to Stephanie Perez & Roger Mercer, on September 07,2003, in Ocean Springs, Ms. The baby brother of 5 siblings. The baby of the family. 

Joshua, was a pure genuine soul, a true angel walking the Earth. He was the best of everyone & everything all in one. There will never be another like him.  He attended Wright middle & Glencliff High Scool, where he played football ,and graduated in 2022. He was always doing yard work for neighbors in the neighborhood. He made friends everywhere he went. He went on to work for a couple moving companies until he landed @ 2 Men & A Truck. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and his Coworkers.

Dada, would still get together with his buddies to play a game of football, play on the game, or a night out on the town. His favorite thing to do was to go fishing tho. He always bragged how he could "catch a fish with anything", and he did. Crazy kid. 

Joshua , loved his family & friends, and would do anything for anyone. He would and has given the shoes off his feet & shirt off his back, to anyone. He had the kindest,sweetest spirt & soul. You never seen him upset or starting drama. He only wanted all his people to get along and be happy.

Joshua, was taken too soon,and I know it's God's plan,but it doesn't take the hurt away. He will be tremendously missed and loved by all. He had 3 brothers, Roger Mercer Jr, Shane Mercer, & Jacob Mercer, and 1 sister, Dallas Mercer.  Mother Stephanie Perez, Father Roger Mercer Sr, Bonus dad Josh Knight. 1 niece & 4 nephews.
