Josh's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joshua "Josh" White, a man known for his warmth, humor, boundless energy and positivity, who left us far too soon on November 14, 2023.
Born on December 4, 1988, Josh was a loving and outgoing family man who left an unforgettable imprint on all who knew him. In 2014, he married his sweetheart, Taryne White, and together they welcomed two wonderful children into their life, Tazmin and Sebastian. Josh’s love for his family was unfathomable and extended to his mother, Glenda Walker; step-father, Chris Walker; sister, Tabitha Frost and her husband, David Frost; brothers, Nick Sandstrom, Logan White, and Brandon Walker; sister, Kara Houston and her husband, Cord Houston; nephews, Luke, Logan, Elijah, Noah, and Apollo; as well as his large, loving extended family.
He was predeceased by his father, John White; mother-in-law, Rhonda Stinson; and his nephew, Zephaniah White.
Josh, known for his creative flair, possessed a deep love for woodworking, a hobby he often indulged in during his free time. He also spent time as a dedicated volunteer at the Lascassas Volunteer Fire Department and Walter Hill Volunteer Fire Department, displaying his commitment to his community.
A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Josh had a soft spot for Sherbert and Laffy Taffy, Mountain Dew, and anything Adam Sandler. His favorite books were those in the Bobby Bones series and he was fond of Upchurch’s music. He was also a proud supporter of the Atlanta Braves, and his favorite color was a vibrant lime green.
Josh was deeply passionate about Pompe Research, a cause near and dear to his heart. His ability to consistently bring positivity into any room will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life for Josh will be held on November 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Corinth Church of Christ, followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 PM.
Josh’s legacy lives on through his loved ones, and though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit continues to inspire and uplift those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
