Joshua's obituary

With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Joshua Ryan Hoeft, DOB February 26, 1984. After a year long fight to recover from a motorcycle accident, Joshua left this earth to ride in Heaven on July 18, 2020. The shining light that was Josh, will be missed by all who knew him. Josh was the best father and will be missed every day by his wonderful children Joslynn Hoeft and Macie Hoeft, his devoted mother, Cheryl A. Chaney (Gerald Boisits), he was preceded in death by his loving father, Michael J Hoeft. Josh was a great friend\mentor to everyone especially his siblings, Matthew (Liz) Hoeft, Nicholas (Jess) Hoeft, Amanda(Jacob) Morgan, Brandon Morgan, Ryan Siebert and Sarah Siebert. His care and enthusiasm for his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins was unmatched as was his love for his maternal grandparents Gabrielle and Dale Cheney. Josh was an amazing stepfather to Kelsie, Kendra and Khloie Hernandez, and husband to Mandi Hoeft. Josh was an incredible patriarch of his family and friends. He boldly shared his love for the Lord with anyone and everyone that would listen. Faith was a driving force in his life. Joshua loved motorcycle riding, fishing, and volleyball. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Josh was always high on life. Josh worked at Diamond Disc International as Sales Manager and was also the CEO and founder of the Wisconsin Motorcycle Group Rides, Inc (WMGR). Josh died doing what he loved the most, riding motorcycles with a group that he considered family. We know there will be plenty of rides waiting for him in heaven. Throughout the year, his Friends and neighbors have said, ”We’ve got your back Josh”. And now from heaven he has ours. You will be forever in our hearts, Josh. Ride In Paradise. His favorite quote and words he lived by were, “Smile, it’s Contagious!”.
