His love for recreation echoed in his beloved pastime of spending quality time with his dogs.

Joshua took great pride in his Arborist Certification, an accomplishment that showcased his extraordinary dedication and resilience. He is survived by his beloved mother, Valerie Gust, his dear sister, April Gust, and his loving son, Jesse Gust. Their hearts, like many others touched by Joshua's warmth and kindness, are filled with grief over this tragic loss.

Joshua was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Gust, his nephew, Christian Thacker, and his grandparents, John and Crystal Holcomb. The memory of their love and companionship will always remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know them.
