Joshua Taylor Crews, 23 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, in Indianapolis. Joshua was born in Sylvania, Ohio, and lived in Fishers, Indiana. In 2019, Josh graduated from Carroll High School and was given the "Honors with Distinction" award. He was a highly accomplished swimmer during his high school years. In the fall of 2019, as a 19-year-old, Josh was recruited and hired by "College Works Painting." During his freshman year in college, he was awarded the #1 intern in Indiana and was a consistent top performer. During his tenure, he sold and managed over one million dollars in business while being a full-time college student. In the midst of accomplishing all of this, he graduated in 2.5 years with a double major from Indiana University. Josh worked at Platinum Deck and Patio in the spring of 2023. In just 18 months, Josh sold over four million dollars of business and served hundreds of clients. At 23, he leaves behind a culture of excellence. Josh was an avid adventurer who loved life. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast who also enjoyed reading, working out, cooking, swimming, and consistently praying. Josh is loved by so many family and friends. He will be missed dearly by his loving parents, Keith and Tracey Crews; two sisters, Katherine and Lauren Crews; brother, Mason Crews; grandparents, George and Linda Crews; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Deb Garland, and Sean and Teresa Peterson; several cousins; and his loving girlfriend, Halee Claycomb. Josh was preceded in death by his uncle, James Crews, and his grandmothers, Christine Crews and Susan Peterson. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street), with calling from 3:00 pm until the service.
