Cody's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Cody Miller, who left us on June 29th, 2024. Affectionately known to friends and family as Cody, he was born on September 3rd, 1983, and lived a life that was filled with joy, positivity, and a genuine love for those around him.
Cody was truly a man of character - kind, funny, and sincere. His genuineness was evident to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. He was a person who not only embodied honesty, dedication, and responsibility, but also radiated positivity and was always adorned with a smile. The lessons Cody left us with are simple yet profound: Enjoy life, and seek joy every day.
Apart from being a warm and loving person, Cody had a big heart for his family. His love for his mother was boundless, and he held her in the highest regard. As an ardent Denver Broncos fan, Cody's enthusiasm for the sport was infectious. His love for live music was palpable, often seen enjoying concerts with a radiant smile and an upbeat spirit.
Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we take comfort knowing Cody lived a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness. He is survived by his beloved Mother, Ruthie Pettyjohn; Father, Larry Miller; his Brother, Edward "Beau" Fauscette and his wife, Barbara; Niece Jessica Hoffman, her husband Austin and their daughter Liberty; Uncle David Pettyjohn and his wife, Wanda; Carol Pope and her husband Dennis; Uncle Alan Pettyjohn, Cousins Richard Pettyjohn, Lisa Kilby-Roberson, Nick Pettyjohn and Zachary Pettyjohn.
A Celebration of Life for Cody will be held on July 6th, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Olathe Fire Department, 501 S. Horton, Olathe, Colorado. We invite all who knew and loved Cody to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating the wonderful life he lived.
May the memory of Cody bring peace and comfort to all who loved him, as his spirit continues to resonate in our hearts.
