Joshua Lloyd Bullard, also known as Josh, and “Bulldog” by friends and family passed away on the evening of September 26th, 2023 at only 42 years of age. Joshua Bullard was born of Cherri Wall and Victor Bullard, on 8/8/1981 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. As a native Okie, he established friendships and eternal bonds throughout the counties, as he could make a friend of anyone and would lend a helping hand wherever needed if possible. He was a lovable soul that put everyone first even at his own risk. To be in his presence was to be loved. To his sister Lacie, he was the epitome of strength and unwavering love. In his youth he found a passion in helping and protecting others through wrestling, which eventually led to his achievement in his professional boxing license. When he was not in the gym, he found solace in being outdoors, whether it be fishing until dark or camping with friends and family. His strength came from his endearment to those he loved. Although he battled with being misunderstood, in view of the fact that he grew up in a time that was not ready to embrace the needs he had to meet with dyslexia and schizophrenia, he still held a spark that ignited any and every room. With this light, he created Emily, Isaiah, Ethan, Caleb, Neveah, Joshua Jr., and Jada Bullard, along with a granddaughter he had not yet gotten the chance to embrace, Aaliyah. His kids became his light and passion, and his passions became theirs as he welcomed and taught them all he could in all he loved and held dear. Joshua Lloyd Bullard joins angels, Joshua Jr. Bullard, TW Garrison, Norma Garrison, Delbert Bullard, Gladys Bullard, and Larry Bullard. A public memorial service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Shawnee, Oklahoma on October 10th at 4:00pm, with a celebration of life to follow at Shawnee Lake.
