Joshua's obituary

Joshua Bryan Call, born on October 14, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Bryan Kendall Call and Judy (Rico) Jensen, sadly passed away on January 13, 2024, at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado.

Known affectionately as Josh, he was renowned for his unwavering work ethic, quick wit, and deep sense of pride in all his endeavors. Josh, a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, and loyal friend, hailed from the vibrant city of Las Vegas. Beyond his high school education, he excelled as a skilled concrete finisher and later found joy operating heavy equipment, culminating in his role as a water hauler for BPS, navigating the oil patch as a semi-truck driver.

Josh's vivacious spirit and adventurous streak were evident to all who knew him. While his tenacious nature was a familiar trait, he also possessed a gentle heart, exuding care and warmth in his interactions. An avid graffiti artist, Josh found solace in artistic expression and treasured moments spent with loved ones. Renowned for his generosity, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying a selfless spirit that endeared him to many.

With a penchant for speed and all things motorized, Josh's zest for life was infectious. Whether scaling mountain peaks with friends or unwinding by an ocean bonfire under the starlit sky, he reveled in thrilling experiences. His infectious smile and kind soul touched countless lives, a legacy that endures through his selfless act of organ donation, offering hope and healing to numerous individuals.

Josh's love for the outdoors and exploration led him to various states, including Oregon, North Dakota, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming, where he spent his final days with his girlfriend Siobhan Jerding and her daughter Mickenzie Jerding Brown in Casper. Survived by his children, Alex and Maurita, his mother Judy Jensen (Oregon), his step father Dave Jensen( Oregon), his brothers Shawn Stramaglio(Nevada) and Cody Call (Montana), his sisters, Christina Truscott( North Dakota)and Brandi Jack(Hill) and “Pops” Donald, Zachary, Brenden, Taryan, and Blasé Lehman (Wyoming), along with a loving network of family, aunt and uncles , nieces, and nephews from California, Utah, Nevada, and Montana and many beloved friends. He is proceeded in death by his father, and grandparents on both sides of his family.

Josh's memory is etched in the hearts of those who knew him best. His legacy of compassion and camaraderie lives on, a testament to the impact he made during his time on Earth.

In honor of Joshua Call, a GoFundMe page has been set up on Facebook by his former employer, Mickie Henson, Kaitlyn Henson, and Nick Johnson, with heartfelt gratitude for the support received.

A celebration of Josh's life will be held at a later date in Nevada, commemorating the enduring legacy of a beloved individual who touched the lives of many.

As Josh would say, "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields”...until we meet again, rest in peace, Joshua Bryan.
