So sad to hear this news. I spent a lot of time with Josh over a number of years. A kind and interesting guy with a big heart who knew how to laugh. Josh was an amazing cook who absolutely loved hosting. I think that's where Josh really thrived - spending time surrounded by friends and family.

Rest in peace Josh. You're a good dude.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Josh’s passing. Although it had been a while since we had seen each other, we were extremely close at university. Memories of spending time with Josh are some of my most cherished memories from that time in my life. I wish that I had had the opportunity to reconnect with him over the years. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Josh.
It was sad to hear of Josh's passing.
He was smart, funny, and genuinely kind. The kind of person who made a room lighter just by being in it.
We shared some good nights and easy laughs and those memories have stuck. Josh always thoughtful, always himself, larger than life. He'll be remembered fondly.

Josh,

You were a good friend. I met you in 1997 and remained friends ever since. We shared a love for sports and music. Playing basketball and soccer together many times. You were a great cook and we enjoyed many meals with groups of friends over the years. We even worked together for two summers in education with our other long term friend Rob. I wish I could have done more for you. Rest well my friend. We will all miss you. I won’t be able to walk by DAL without thinking of you.

Josh

You will be missed you gentle kind hearted giant. You were the GK MVP in the Sunday league with the The Halifax UnderGround team

Rest in peace my friend

I met Josh in Halifax, and we connected quickly. He was someone I could genuinely relax around — someone who understood me, and someone whose company I truly valued. Some of the best memories from that time in my life are because of him.

Life took me in different directions and distance made it harder to stay in touch, but I never stopped caring where he ended up. I wish I could’ve done more, or been closer, or found the right words at the right time.

Josh was loved — maybe more than he ever realized. He mattered to me. I’m grateful our paths crossed, and I won’t forget the impact he had on my life.

Your absence is felt. I hope you knew how much you mattered.

— Bryce
