Every time Josh would come up in one of my stories, it was always with a spark of joy and affection in my voice.  He was funny, supportive, curious, surprising, and cranky in exactly the right way that we could bond over. And although he started out as my boss (and gave me a big opportunity in my career), he always made me feel like a trusted and admired friend. The feeling was very mutual.
My condolences to his family. Josh always took the time to support the people around him. He had a profound impact on my confidence at work. Such a decent man and I'm a better person for having known him.
Josh was truly a gentle and kind soul.   Im incredibly grateful to have gotten the chance to know him.  My condolences to his Family.  Psalms 91

A deeply kind, creative, and wonderful man.  Had a great time working on a project together at the Mount Company.
Josh gave me a chance, working for him as an intern straight out of graduate school. He was a brilliant and kind leader, who led by example, appreciated the strengths of those who worked with him, pushed people hard but had a teddy bear demeanor. Wherever Josh is now I’m sure he is pushing the limit, and helping lift up those around him.

What a good guy. I remember meeting him for the first time in Milan when he was doing international sales. I had been friends with quite a few international sales agents and I remember us all praising Josh- that rare person who is decent to the core and also adept in the shark infested waters of indie filmmaking at that time. I got to know his reverence for filmmaking first hand when he was at The Mount Company and we worked on a documentary together. Josh always seemed happy, always loving. He was kind, passionate and inspired. I feel lucky to have known him even long ago.
