Josephine's obituary
We mourn the loss of Josephine "Josie" Tuazon, who peacefully began her eternal rest on May 13, 2024. Born in 1960, Josie radiated love, intelligence, affection, and spontaneity. She wore many hats with grace. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, an adoring grandmother, a caring sister, an amazing aunt, a loyal friend, and a revered nurse.
Josie not only had a vivacious personality; she was also generous, thoughtful, witty, and fun-loving. She carried these traits into her career when she graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines in 1980. The following year, she married her soul mate, marking the start of a beautiful family life.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Alex Tuazon, her faithful daughters, Joandra Centenera and Janice Ang, and her supportive sons-in-law, Jordan Centenera and Glen Ang. Her legacy continues to live on through her beloved grandchildren - Alexis, Aliyah, Ardan Centenera, Jalen, Lenix and Gicel Ang. Each of them embody Josie’s spirit and are a testament of her enduring influence and love.
Among her numerous accomplishments, Josie's role as a registered nurse and her dedication to her family, stood out above all. She generated a legacy of love and strength that will persist in the hearts of those she touched. Her absence leaves an undeniable void. However, her memories will comfort and remind us of the love and warmth she brought into our lives.
Josie's life will be celebrated on May 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Coquitlam. The burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Port Coquitlam Cemetery. These moments will serve as a tribute to a life beautifully lived and a soul incredibly loved.
