We mournfully announce the passing of Josephine Tisdale on February 23, 2024. Born on November 19, 1940, Josephine lived an abundant life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Tisdale, whom she wed in the year of 1981, and her beloved son, Steven Tisdale. She also leaves behind her adored daughter-in-law, Jessica Tisdale; her caring sister, Emma Fobes; and her supportive brother, Edgar Childers. Josephine's legacy will continue to live on through the unity and strength of this tightly-knit family.
Josephine was predeceased by her sisters Annie Bleeker and Francis Griffin, and her brother Tommy Childers. As she reunites with them, we here continue to cherish the memories we hold of her - a testament to the unforgettable impact she has had on our lives.
In 2018, Josephine moved to Sugar Hill, GA, where she relished life's simplest pleasures. She was an enthusiastic fan of game shows, football, and the energetic Denver Broncos. She delighted in coloring and playing cards, hobbies that both symbolized her vibrant spirit and love of life.
Josephine was one of a kind, her personality best described as loving, caring, funny, warm, compassionate, and selfless. She was a beacon of kindness and laughter, illuminating the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a dedicated seamstress for over 25 years, a testament to her craftsmanship and attention to detail. This accomplishment is just one of the many facets of Josephine's rich, fulfilling life that her family and friends will remember and cherish.
